The Topsail team loves all sports and like many all over the world are avidly watching the reports coming out of South Korea to see how our favourite teams and athletes are getting on.
The Australian Winter Olympic team are already making the headlines with the first indigenous winter olympian taking to the ice in the figure skating, already winning three Olympic medals and taking more medal contenders than it has ever had at a single Games.
The team arrived in PyeongChang with 50 athletes set to take part in 10 sports with the aim of improving on their three Olypmic medals they won at both the Sochi and Vancouver Games.
As of Thursday 15th February, the team has already matched the medals won in Sochi, 2014 thanks to a silver medal for Matt Graham in the men's moguls, a silver medal for Jarryd Huges in the energetic men's snowboard cross and a fantastic performance from Scotty James in the men's halfpipe who took bronze.
Up this weekend are green and gold athletes Greta Small in the Ladies Super G, Jackie Narracott in the skeleton plus ski jumping, biathlon, speed skating and more.
Australia has competed in every Winter Olympics since 1936 with their first medal being won in Lilehammer, 1994.
