EVER HEARD OF THE SEABIN PROJECT? NO, NEITHER HAD WE...UNTIL NOW!

Andrew Turton & Pete Ceglinski - founders of the Seabin project are keen to let us know how we can join them in helping create a better world with their new invention that will help to prevent our oceans pollution issues.

The Seabin is a revolution in ocean cleaning technology and is set to create better, healthier marine life for all; everyone and every living thing. The project is backed by ocean lovers all over the world and is targeted at marinas, ports, harbours, yacht clubs, inland waterways, rivers, lakes, private pontoons and even motor yachts and super yachts.

So, how does it work? The Seabin is placed in the water, attached to a floating dock, there is a shore based water pump that runs on shore power. The pump creates a flow of water into the bin, which in turn brings with it all the floating debris. The debris is then caught in a natural fibre catch bag, whilst the water is sucked out of the bin, up to the pump and back into the marina, the rubbish is collected and disposed of responsibly in the waste disposal at the marina. The seabin is small enough to fit into corners of marinas without being obtrusive or using up valuable space for boats. There is also the option to fit an oil/water separator to the system.
